Meet Dr. Poer

Dr. Poer was born in Hancock County and raised throughout eastern Indiana.  After serving six years in the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Poer graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1993. 

Dr. Poer continued teaching at Indiana University School of Dentistry as a clinical instructor for the next ten years in prosthodontics (tooth replacement).  In 1994, Dr. Poer began his private practice in Carmel.  After thirteen years, a new and larger facility was opened in 2007 in Westfield. 

With a special interest in cosmetics and tooth restoration, Dr. Poer is a certified Invisalign provider and and active member of the following associations:

• American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry,
• American Dental Association
• Indiana Dental Association
• Indianapolis District Dental Society
• Westfield Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Poer is married and lives in Westfield with his wife and their two daughters. He and his family are members of Centennial Bible Church. Dr. Poer travels annually to Russia in support of the Slavic Gospel Association which, among other missions, provides dental care to Christian brothers and sisters, as well as, residents of Tomsk, Russia.  Dr. Poer enjoys art, design, architecture and landscaping. Jennifer

Jennifer is our Dental Hygienist and a 1995 graduate of the Indiana University School of Dentistry.  Specializing in educating patients in home care, diet, preventative measures and periodontal disease, she has cared for our patients since 2006.  With over thirteen years experience, your relationship with her is essential in maintaining your individual and family oral health. 

She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. In her spare time she likes to read, watch sports and scrapbooking.

Hillary

Her many interests include country music, watching football games and racing, cooking and traveling.

Beth

Beth is our Expanded Functions Duty Assistant (EFDA).  She received her bachelor's degree from Indiana State University and completed the EFDA course at IU School of Dentistry in Indianapolis.  With 14 years experience, she has served our patients since 2007.

She spends her free time at the field watching her daughters play soccer. She enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family.
